Delivering the best of Sussex Produce across the south of England and beyond! We hand make our own range of fabulous cakes for both retail and catering; additionally we distribute a wide range of wonderful Sussex produce. With a low minimum order value and our own delivery vans we are able to support the small retailer, independents, farm shops & delis, garden centres, cafes and hotels – no customer too big or too small!

We specialise in traditional English baking and our wide range of fruit cakes, sponges, tea breads and pavlovas are mouth-wateringly good
Additive Free & Delicious
We still make and ice each cake by hand, baked the way cakes should be, with real ingredients and nothing artificial added
Best Of Sussex
We use selected local ingredients; Sussex free range eggs, Weald and Downland stoneground wholemeal flour, Deerview jams for our hand-made tarts

Based in rural West Sussex, we believe in preserving our natural environment. Wherever possible, we aim to minimise our environmental impact, amongst other initiatives we only use minimal packaging and recycle waste.
Our business revolves around delivering exceptional customer service. We know you hate being let down so we operate a reliable service that you can count on. We deliver all the products ourselves to ensure they arrive on time and in perfect condition.

With a workforce of 14, Farmhouse Cookery is based in the picturesque village of Bosham on the south coast.
Farmhouse Cookery is run by Jason Burt, who joined the company in 1990. Jason took over the family business from his mother, Gina, when she moved to Scotland. He has fond childhood memories of his mother’s baking and proudly carries on the family tradition of baking handmade cakes with real ingredients.
